In 1963, I entered this photo for a daily competition in the Evening Standard and I won five pounds and five shillings, and the picture was published in the Saturday edition on June 29th. You were only allowed to win once but, by October, I was short of money so I submitted another photo under the name of my mate Tony McNally. Amayingly, I won another five pounds and five shillings, which we shared between us. It appeared on Thursday October 24th and I decided not to have a third go for fear of being found out.
