Lee Maelzer

Lee Maelzer was born in London where she still lives. She works from her studio located in Dalston, East London.
She holds a Bachelor of Arts (Hons.) First Class from Central St Martins College of Art and Design, and a London Master of Arts from the Royal College of Art, London.
Having had eight solo exhibitions, she exhibits widely in group exhibitions in London, and has shown her work abroad, including the US, Germany, Switzerland, Vienna, Holland, Israel, Spain, Greece and the Czech Republic.
Lee was awarded the Abbey Fellowship at The British School at Rome, 2004, and was twice short-listed for the John Moores Painting Prize.
Her permanent collections include works at The University of the Arts, Frank Cohen, Anita Zabludovicz and David Roberts galleries; she also features in a number of private collections internationally.
