Bobby Moore at Fulham Football Club, 1975

£790.00£1,240.00

Geoff Hurst and Bobby Moore became heroes when England won the World Cup in 1966. I watched most of the matches England played at Wembley, including the final, but I did not take my camera with me because I thought it would be confiscated. I still have my programme and the ‘final’ ticket. Nine years later, I watched a game at Fulham and after the match I went around to the players’ entrance. Geoff Hurst and Bobby Moore were leaving the ground as young boys and girls surged forward with books and pens at the ready, hoping to get an autograph.
